For those who want to explore, there are regular buses to towns near by, such as Ichmeler, with its huge weekly market.
You could also take a dolmus (bus) or water-taxi to Marmaris. A historical town with a castle and beautiful waterfront, it also provides a wide variety of shops. Well known for its vibrant nightlife, it offers hundreds of nightclubs, bars and restaurants, catering for every taste. (Our local Agent can arrange for you to be accompanied by a wonderful English speaking guide).
A variety of water sports are available locally, including scuba diving. Boat trips abound, from a gentle trip around the nearby bays, where the Med and the Aegean meet, (with onboard BBQ and swimming in crystal clear waters), or visits to Turtle Beach, mud baths and beyond, they all offer a fantastic day (or 2) out.
You might alternatively choose a jeep safari, a visit to the local temple site at Amos or a visit to the local Turkish bath. Car hire is available and can be booked through our local agent.
Further afield, you may like to visit the hot springs at Pamukkale, the ancient cities of Ephesus or Hierapolis or take a trip inland for white water rafting.
